The world tonight · 1016 hPa · Low pollen
Your sleep doesn’t float in a void. It lives in a world.
Somméo listens to your nights on your iPhone and reads the sky around them (weather, pollen, pressure) to show what really shapes your rest.
01 · How it works
Plug in, then forget it.
- 01
Put your phone by the bed.
Screen down on the nightstand, plugged in. Start your night, then forget it.
- 02
Sleep. Somméo listens.
Snoring, restlessness, wakes and noise from outside are picked up on the phone, second by second.
- 03
Read your night in the morning.
A score, your curve, what happened and when, against the sky of that night.
02 · Listening
Your night, in one clear picture.
All night, Somméo listens to the room and turns every second into events. In the morning you know what happened, at what time, and for how long.
- SnoringWhen, how often, for how long.
- RestlessnessMovement you can hear in the sound of the room.
- Probable wakesThe moments you most likely left sleep.
- Noise from outsideTraffic, voices, rain, animals, sirens: counted apart.
Sample night · 23:00 – 07:00
03 · The world
The sky shapes your nights.
Pressure, pollen, weather: everything changes from night to night. Somméo sets them against your sleep so the patterns finally make sense. If you have an allergy, it follows your own pollens.

04 · Privacy
Your bedroom stays your bedroom.
Listening stays on your phone
Sound is analysed on the device. Somméo keeps only events: snoring at 2:14, for 6 minutes.
Your sound clips never leave
Short 10-second clips around snoring, to play back in the morning. Kept on this phone only, deleted after 7 days. You can turn them off.
Your area, never your location
For the weather, your location is rounded to about 1 km before it leaves the phone.
No account needed
Everything works without an account. With one, your nights are backed up in the European Union, and you can erase it all.
05 · Around the night
From bedtime to waking up.
Alarm
Pick the time before you sleep. It rings even if listening has stopped.
Sounds to fall asleep to
White, pink or brown noise, rain, fan. They fade out gently.
Nap
20 or 90 minutes, with an alarm at the end.
Widget and Live Activity
Your score on the Home Screen, your night in progress on the Lock Screen.
Apple Health
Your nights written to Health. Your steps of the day before set against your sleep.
Two-week goal
Go to bed earlier, sleep longer: 14 nights to see.
07 · Questions
Before your first night.
Does Somméo replace a sleep study?
No. Somméo is not a medical device and does not diagnose anything. It helps you see your nights. If you snore loudly or feel exhausted, talk to a doctor: the PDF summary is made for that appointment.
Where should I put the phone?
On the nightstand, less than a metre from your head, screen down. Before each night Somméo reminds you, and it can test the microphone in 10 seconds.
What about the battery?
A night of listening takes power: plug your phone in. Listening stops by itself after 12 hours.
What if I share the bed?
Somméo hears the room, not one person. Say in the questionnaire that you share the room: snoring then counts for half.
Is Somméo on Android?
Somméo comes to iPhone first. Android will follow.
Is the link between the sky and my nights proven?
Somméo shows what keeps coming back in your own nights, over several nights. A link is not a cause, and the app says so.
Your first night starts here.
Somméo is coming soon to the App Store, for iPhone.
